Sunday School - First Presbyterian Church

“Train children in the way they should go, and when they are old they will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)

Sunday School is offered to children ages 3 thru 8th grade every Sunday morning at 9:00am during the school-year (September-May). All the children start with music each morning and then go off to their classes, which are grouped by age. See below for more info on each of the classes.

In addition to classes, the children sing in worship approximately once a month and they perform a Christmas program each year in mid-December.

Our Vacation Bible School is offered around the first week in August for preschool and elementary children. It runs 6-8pm on a Monday thru Wednesday, with an ice cream social for children, parents, and community members on Wednesday evening.

Middle School Lock-in

May 22-23, 7PM to 7AM

All students in grades 6-8 are invited!

Students should bring: sleeping bag, pillow, change of clothes, bedtime toiletries, night meds, etc.

Kindergarten and 1st grade (Teacher: Ava Lightfoot) – Bible Story, activity, craft – They are learning the Lord’s prayer
2nd and 3rd Grade (Teacher: Sawyer Smock) – Bible Story and activity or craft – They are learning the 10 commandments.
4th grade (Teacher: Alyssa Busse) – Bible Story, activity or craft – They are learning the Books of the Bible.
5th and 6th Grade (Teacher: Wanda Nephew) – Bible Story and activity – They are learning the 12 disciples.
7th and 8th Grade (Teacher: Lynita Delaney) – Bible Story and activity – They are reviewing general knowledge of the Bible.
